Chucking a spanner

I did today, when a friend came round to use a 10mm spanner, or rather I should say Ex-friend.
The muppet had the bloody cheek to use a hammer on it when he couldn't fit it on a nut that was 11mm.
I narrowly missed him and its burried in the wall (can't remove it either, much as I tried)
Twat is the only word I can describe him as.
Snapon don't replace stuff thats been abused, so I told him he can pay for a new one, he had the cheek to say it must be a rubbish spanner.

Do you mean he was still able to talk at this time, it should have been embedded in his throat, not the wall.

Just like me Gio .....I used to lend my tools to so called "mates" ...only to find them knackered/bent/bust/fecked on return ...that's if they even got returned at all! ...I must have spent thousands on tools during my biking/car fettling life.
so unless it's family... I say "FECK OFF AND BUY YOUR OWN"

He did what!!?? Bloody Hell, Anyone did that with my tools and they'd get a proper slap.
Snapon.. He's got a point.. theyre not the best going, the high cost basically pays for the spanner twice... We used to have a Snap-on van come round the workshop once a week and there were guys constantly returning spanners and sockets to be replaced.
They're like Akropovic were when they started.. cheap tat, well marketed, expensively priced.. (Although Akro have turned since then..)
I'd swear by King Dick spanners meself. Proper decent kit.

lol having chucked the teddy big style at work today I'd be burying it in his head, which reminds me - must get my detail sander back from next-doors before he sells it

I know snap-on aren't the best but I had them as repayment of a debt.
I prefer the Halfrauds spanners, same quality half the price.
