I always wanted a 250 Superdream..
Dunno why, they werent owt special
My mate restored one back to nigh on concours condition when we lived down in Fleet.. again.. Dont know why... they werent owt special..!
I guess they just had 'something' about them... Like Marmite..?
Oh and for some reason Ive been a member of this site for a couple of years...

Weird..
.... eventually had a G5 though ... the one with the up-swept pipes
One journey, one of my brother's mates insisted on riding pillion (though I didn't want to take him) .... got to the end of the journey and waited for him to get off ... which he couldn't.
His platform heels had melted onto the pipes and he was stuck.
Had to remove his shoes to get off .... and then chisel the shoes off of the pipes ....

For an overweight, underpowered lump of a bike it went OK. The damned thing refused to die, which is probably a good thing as I knew nothing about spannering at the time. Eventually managed to sell it for twice what I paid for it.

It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
