With the weather and lack of riding. So stand by for a self pitying winge!

Until I bought SWMBO a car for a "significant" birthday ( by God, he's generous that man :smt003 ) we ran one car for her and the bike for me. But her new car simply isnt practical for anything but bringing a smile to her face (its a Smart roadster and a cracking piece of kit they are :smt007 ) so we now have two cars. Smart and (dare I say it :smt009 ) Volvo. So I gradually sink into the pattern of using the car if its cold / wet / snowy / foggy / or even looks like any of them. Heated leather beats helmet boots and Buffalo. The bike stays in the garage. I've become a weekend warrior :smt010

Anybody near here ( SE Wales) who fancies coming to rescue me on a (sloooow) ride out?

Global 'warming' affects us all. :smt002

Nearly lost it in the car tonight. I was glad I wasn't on the bike.
I'm sure it was that 'kin molasses on the road again.

Finally cracked today and rode into Cardiff on the bike. Going in wasnt fun - 30 to 40 knot cross winds and the bike wandering all over the motorway. Coming back was even better - biblical down poor as well as wind.

Think I got my timing wrong :smt003

Sounds quite a valiant move, almost heroic. :smt002 :smt003

Bloody fair weather bikers... It's normally snowing when I manage to get the bike out of the garage :smt002

Rather you than me though Laz.. Im currently suffering sneezes and coughs. Almost shoved the car thru a brick wall and a Bus yesterday when I got myself into a coughing fit, sneezed then couldnt see where i was going.

:smt011 Im glad I dont have a big bike on the road at the mo.. I'd kill myself
