Felt it last night but thought nothing of it. Wasn't aware it was an earthquake till I heard it on the news this morning. I thought it was tha cat having a mad half hour. It was not strong here, just rattled a few things.

The wife always said I could sleep through an earthquake - now she's got the proof

Never even felt a thing. Slept right thru it, so did the missus and kids.
Did the Earth move for you then?

The first thing that occurs to me is why you are up at 2:00am M8?
That aside we definately felt it here, woke me up big style, I wondered what the h**l was going on. However Lisa (the missus) slept right through it.
Now I know not even an earthquake can wake her up!

Didn't feel a thing here. Having said that tho, given my missus increased farting and snoring now she's pregnant, I'm not sure I'd have noticed a quake anyway!

We, well the missus and my son heard and felt it !!!! I was fast asleep, never heard (although I think I heard a loud bang, but not sure), or felt a thing. The missus started screaming, woke me up, heard my son screaming, so I thought - F*£k, being burgled/attacked and I jumped out of and over the bed with my fists up ready for a big fight, pitch black couldn't see a damn thing and only my shreddies on.
Misses keeps laughing every time she thinks about it now.
Mind you were were only 15 miles from its center!!!
Last one I felt in UK was 1990, working in Cheltenham at the time.
Just wonder if any after shocks will hit tonight. Hope not, I need a good nights kip now.
good night all.
