As many of you will know I sold my Firestorm about 2 years ago - lovely she was - but had to sell to help pay for wedding and house etc.

I now want anopther bike - I have £1200 cash waiting for a decent deal on a big (over 750cc) bike that will behave 2 up (ahem) - anyone got any suggestions - I am looking to buy quickly - so anyone got anything I might be interested in - or can point me to an add for one close to our gaff (Bromley Kent)?

Yours hopefully

Mr No2wheelsatthemoment

Hello TG.
I know I'm a long way oop north, but if you are thinking of something like a Honda CBR1000F,
Would you be interested in this -

Please note cockpit picture is an old one, I've had the bike since 2002 and it now has 36k miles on the clock.
It is a 1995 Registered CBR1000F (Actually an FR I think, but will check).
100 miles on rear Bridgestone BT021, part worn BT014 on front. Modded to single sided exhaust with alloy Viper race can (not too loud) and extra road legal stainless race can for MOT tests.
Standard clear screen and dark smoked one, currently fitted.
Recent new rear disk and rear pads, rectifier, battery, had cam chain and tensioner at 26,812 miles, new DID chain and sprockets fitted 2007.
Tested til Dec. 2008, taxed well into next year, will check exact month.
Bit old but it's the most comfortable 2 up bike I've ever had, don't really notice you have a pillion even at 130 plus.
Been very reliable and handles well if you like big old style heavy but very stable handling bikes. I often find that I ride this faster than my Falco. Wind protection is excellent so you don't really notice speed as much.
Let me know if you are interested and I'll forward you more info..

Cheers,
Howard
