Valentine's day - what did you do?

#1 Post by BikerGran » Thu Feb 14, 2008 9:22 pm

bought a card and don't know what I did with it, Mike put a card aside at the shop where he works and forgot to buy it at the end of his shift! We're sooooo romantic!

However a nice steak and chips cooked at home (he did phone up to book a table today but was far too late) hit the spot and saved us the trouble of getting dressed up and going out in the cold!

That's that dealt with for another year!

I totally blew it big time!! went into Woolies(SOoo Romantic!!) with wife waiting outside!! Creating an atmosphere of immense anticipation!! Looked at the specially created Valentines day section, but looked outside and the wife was looking in!! OOopps! quickly grabbed a card that was one of the cheapest, it looked O.K., Got some Chocy's got home!! wrote the card, gave her a kiss and the card etc, at which point she said on reading the front of the card,, " To a special boyfriend!!"
AAAAaaaghhhh! :smt021
(this really happened! no excuse even being married for 30 years..funnily though,, wife says it's the best Valentines ever!)

Bought Mrs K sexy stuff to wear,
Got Mrs K a card
Wished Mrs K Happy Birthday.

Which is quite handy, considering it's her Birthday.. :smt001

Valentine's Day? I dont have to bother with that bollocks, but the Birthday cards have to be bloody good to compensate for the fact..

It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Discovered my lady is planning to meet another bloke on Saturday night.

Time and place sorted and apparently she can't wait to see him.

Can't wait to hear her excuse.

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Good job the real true love of my life is safely tucked up in my nice warm garage.

I was working in the garage, she was working indoors, never realised it was valentines day, but even if we had we'd have done nothing about it.

Card bought and written
Bunch of flowers bought

Card and flowers strategically left.

Flowers still sitting in bucket that was keeping them watered.
Card opened and then put back in the envelope.

Oh well, at least the card was opened! Last year got a bollocking for even buying one.

Maybe this is the type of flowers I should have bought ....

I had the opposite problem - didn't buy anything but should have (apparently).
