Forgive me for I have sinned..

Ive just stripped down a Mongoose BMX, stripped the old but quite good Blue paint off, threw away the buckled wheels and painted the thing Bright Pink for my Daughter.. :smt011

Only after I'd done all this did I think to do an internet search to see which model it was...

Great one K...

That'll be an Mongoose Expert Pro from the late 80s then that you just completely trashed... :smt011 :smt011 Hohum.. S'not like it was worth a few bob or anything.. :smt075

Thank God it wasnt a Supergoose.... :smt003 That wouldve seen people flying over from USA to personally throttle me..

Just thought i'd share it with y'all anyways.. :smt001

I just got a little Mongoose for my son from a little charity shop in Camberwell, Melbourne for $5. Thought it was a bargain esp. when it still had the original barcode on the fork leg for $175.

Got the mongoose emblem on the tyres too!

So are these a bit special or summat?

1970's and 1980's ones tend to be, theyve got a huge cult following.. mainly amongst the kids who've now grown up and can afford whatthey couldnt when they were kids..lol
