Prize Quiz (well thats what I've been told)

#1 Post by Gio » Fri Nov 23, 2007 6:21 pm

Some of these questions are fairly easy, ie name that man. but there are a few tough ones, some with a hint.

I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have putting it together, I nearly didn't make it as I deleted a few questions earlier today as being to esoteric.

1. Name this revolutionary bike?

Image

2. This is another bike from the same mould as above, a clue is it made its debut at a motorbike show this year.?

Image

3. Name this bike?

Image

4. From the heady days of the early 60’s name this man and his nationality. This picture was taken at Governors Bridge, which is on the TT course in the IOM?

Image

5. The year is 1981 and you can forget the girl now :smt005 name the bike and model. (it’s a twin exhaust model)?

Image

6. This picture was taken in the early 60’s (well judging by the car etc) What model is the bike?

Image

7. 1939 and its supercharged! What is it?

Image

8. Now how about this as a commuter bike I can’t give you the year but I’ve left the name complete (yes it is awkward isn’t it)?

Image

9. A simple one here it’s a Honda from 1979 what model is it?

Image

10. A bit older now but who is he?

Image

11. Its from 1950.

Image

12. Here’s a bike I’d love to own its from 1918 (not to many manufacturers around then LOL).

Image

13. Yet another individual, who is he ?

Image

14. 1965 who is he and the bike ?

Image

15. Now I don’t know about the bike, but who is the mechanic ?

Image
16. This bike is from 1939, its a 250cc. A clue here is to think of a famous clothing company ?

Image

17. I tried to find an ever earlier one but gave up. This is a 1910 outfit, who’s the manufacturer?

Image

18. Not as well known as its bigger brother ?

Image

19. Some of you will know this one :smt044 ?

Image

20. And finally some people have admired the more modern versions the last few years. This is a 1965 GP bike?

Image

Good Luck :smt001

PM please. I'll be putting up the winning entries this time (if there's more than 2 entries), as well as the original copy of the questions (the answers are in there).

Gio can you set a date for the finish?

The 'prizes' are for the first 3, consisting of ridersite magnetic fridge calendars.

These double up, like Ive said before, as great nut and bolt holders, which i'd originally ordered them for
