...to the guy in the Land Rover outside Holmes Chapel yesterday, who stopped to make sure I was OK while stood at the side of the road with a rather pained-expression on my face.
Those summer boots don't half give you cold-induced cramp quick!!!
Anyway, it's really nice to know that someone will stop to help out another person

I think he even turned round and came back, so he had to go out of his way. Respect.

Well, an interesting and heart-warming story ...... but ...... what sort of person scours "The Royalist" for snippets of news ???
Is there a "The Republican" for those of us that are a little less pro-monarchy?
.... another plus for "The Republican" would be that it contains "Publican" .... whose for a lock-in ??
