Petitions and Admin stuff and....

#1 Post by Kwackerz » Sun Sep 02, 2007 4:52 pm

What's the general concensus..?

Ive put up links to petitions in the past, as have others.

Would it be better to have an area set aside on the forum for such things? Somewhere for people to see what people feel concerned with and what they'd like signed?
Im not suggesting everyone goes out of their way to finds petitions that interest them, just those petitions that in passing they find worthwhile enough to post up about.

I put up a petition for 36 Greys Lane the other Month. Many thanks for all those who took the time to sign that petition.

Maybe it would be good to have such an area. I know ive been made aware of petitions to things in the past I wouldnt have ever realised there was a problem with!! Such an area would be a useful tool for us to get our message across in a place where you wouldnt have to 'bump' it up on general as it'd be in the petitions area.

I was also considering the benefits of combining the Playground area with Jokin' Apart.

I dont know that we do need both to be separate. Again, views on that please!! :smt001

As far as I am concerned you can combine Playground with Jokin' Apart.

As for petitions - I have no preference really. Are there really that many? Anyroad I am happy with whatever you decide.

If I was to start a petition it would be to ban all do-gooders

I can think of one for that site straight off, but it'd never be allowed.

Well having woken up too early, I decided to spend a couple of nanoseconds rearranging things.

Playground has gone. Jokin' Apart is now the hub of the universe for all things silly, stupid, funny or just plain fekkin awful :smt002

We have a new section too, Tour Reports, which already has 2 reports in it.

Ive also rejigged a few locations, so you'll find MotoGP above Sbk, etc

I dont like changing the forums all the time so for the rest of the day Im open to ideas for any decent moves and changes. Call it preparing for winter.

So good you repeated it.

I have noticed a lack of bedroom suites in Joking Apart, as I'm, sure it will need them as some of us are silly on a more permanent basis :smt003
