Was on 11/12/13th August.

We sat out on the night of the 12th and 13th and watched 'em. probably one 'shooting star' every minute or so.

Not an amazing lightshow or anything, but it captured the kids' imagination for an hour or two each night.

Also seen were (According to Sam..little Sam not 'Sam'):

USAF Jet fighters x 4 from the nearly Yank base

Satellites x 5

Couple of helicopters

Loads of Stars (funnily enough)

The glow from Ely, Newmarket and Cambridge in the sky

Well that was Sam's list anyways. :smt003

Spent some time lying down in a field very early on Sun am and saw a few. Also saw one very bright satellite or similar. Is there a space station visible?

I remember a few years ago seeing Mia go overhead once advised where and when to look by the media. Got rather excited :smt009
