Unfortunately I've never been to a German race track, but I've driven through the country several times, the only thing I could say about them ( to their advantage) is it is very clean, its got some wonderful views and it has got a few decent wines. Unfortunately the rest of it is boring as they have no sense of humour.

I must say those Bears are rather lovely. Turboprops? Jeepers! But like they say, if it aint broke dont fix it.

The Yanks were never going to let it go away anway, need it to make sure the rest of the planet is still scared of the Ruskies and "needs" America (and god) on side to keep everyone safe.
This also allows the Yanks to do pretty much what they want without too much criticism!

I may be cynical, but isn't it handy that the NEW typhoon needed to be "scrambled" and that there happened to be a photographer nearby and that the russian pilot flew in a nice tight formation.

No chance that it might be a "clever" marketing excercise?

Thought I was the only one that cynical.
It was really handy!
We need to justify massive expenditure on the Typhoon.
I'm sure the Russians need to justify a massive budget to replace those old Turbo-props.
Nice photo oportunity, to prove the point, everybody is happy.
Also nice training exercise for all military parties, much more fun than the simulator.
Sorted. :smt002
If any politicians get upset, just need to expell a few more diplomats.
