Back online after an enforced abscence

#1 Post by jam » Sat Jul 07, 2007 10:38 pm

Decided to change back to BT as charges were way over the top and the service wasn't much, from the service provider I was using, so what happens the arseholes got pissy after I told them I was changing and cancelling the direct debit and decided to chop my line two weeks early, no phone and no internet until this morning when BT took over. Thankfully I can get on using dial up until next week when it goes over to broadband. I'm now going to deduct two weeks line charges from the final bill for the other idiots and see how they like that!!

I have tried various ISP's and found BT to be the best. Last one I tried was Sky. What a load of shit they were, 1 hour waiting on the phone to get through to them only to be directed to another half hour wait (this is because the modem was faulty). Then the second modem would not connect. I was pissed off by this time and just cancelled. I was offline for almost 2 months and they still took my money. It took months before I got it back, shite shite shite shite!!!!!!

It was those idiots I changed back to BT from Falcomonkey, The call charges became ridiculously high even on the tarrif they said was cheapest, and each mobile network I called was charged at a different price, I got totally fed up with automated messages from them and the prats in the call centre, and my landline bills went over the £100 a month mark on several occasions. Everyone I know who's tied them has had a similar experience with them, and broadband down here is very hit and miss from them. Several people I know have continued being billed by them after changing over. when my final bill arrives from them I'll be deducting a percentage of the line charges for the time I was without service and I'll be making them wait the same length of time before I pay them. BT are a little bit more expensive in places but overall with te package I've got it shouldn't be too bad.
