We all know back in the day that wd40 was found to be an excellent brake cleaner, but is there anything this wonder product cannot do?

Just decorated the bathroom, needed to remove silicone sealant and boom, wd40 does a terrific job.

What else can it be used for?

Very good at removing grease from wheels. Rubbish as a penetrating oil (which most people seem to use it for). Use Plus-Gas for that job.

It’s not a penetration oil it’s a water displacement (formula 40) but works well as a loosener

Sorry to sound female but well you know I can't help it really....

It did a great job of removing beach tar from a white denim skirt. No not mine, and years ago, but it worked!

I'm about to try using it to remove double sided very sticky tape from fabrics, specifically the baby raptor winter radiator wraps I made for the local dealer (since closed)

Especially when there is a liquid designed for that express purpose (the clue is in the name)...

You can wash your plates with it

I actually use it to clean, shine and protect my leather boots and shoes. It’s a wonderful product

Most people eat their meals off plates, not boots or shoes...
