You buy a new tool or similar for a mod that you have planned in the not too distant future.
You toy with the new bit of bling and put it aside.
Days later you see the said item and think "that is asking to get lost leaving it there, I will put it here, makes perfect sense"
When the time arrives you check where you thought you put it (as it did make perfect sense )
The fucking thing is nowhere to be seen :smt013
Now I have ordered a replacement.....it will re surface

Too often, too many times, too many things...

I do things on the bench, turn round to do something else - turn back to find the tool I was using 2 minutes previously has been stolen!

Two years ago I bought a radio specific lead for my Autocom - I put it in a safe place to use the next day but it disappeared. I 'borrowed' a spare from a friend to get me working (he's still not had it back lol). Two weeks ago I was tidying up some of my shite in the garage, went through the 'Falco Parts for a Rainy Day' box, only to find that some malicious bastard had hidden that fucking Autocom lead underneath the spare pillion pad ...

Not a food mood thing !
The odd sized hole saw that came with the KTM crash bung set has been stolen by the chaos pixies !
The thing is bright red in colour, still in its transparent plastic box, stolen because the pixies knew I was in the fleet workshop making a tool to mark where I need to drill the fairing....
It will turn up within days of the replacement arriving......

The prevalence of going upstairs for something then wondering: "what the fuck have I come up here for...?" is increasing...

I should stop sneaking in to people's garages and moving their tools about.

Seriously it is a bit weird, my mate was with me most of the day I was looking for the holesaw, he looked where I looked, it was not there....

I've been like that the last few years. Latest one was going out for a walk to the shops, where are my housekeys, spent 10 minutes looking for them then asked the wife, she said whats that in your hand, DOH!
