You've made your point, now jog on....
I only have to think about doing something to the bike and you strangle me with your icey fingers

Yes, know how you feel. I just about managed to fit the Givi top plate I bought for the Duke before I had to flee back to the warmth of the house. This is no longer funny. Pack your bags and bugger off, winter...

Its not winter, its a mish mash of weird days, warm, damp and cool and everything inbetween. In fact I can't remember the last winter we had its so long ago (guessing at 1991 being the last reasonably cold one)

HA HA , Been to work on the 900 trumpit today had to keep the rear tyre against the curb to get off the industrial estate in the snow. And I know my Falco was lathing at me tucked up in the garage.

I got as far as Monday with the bike and gave up.
Rode home in some very unfunny, heavy snow showers (and snow laying on the M40) and have taken the car since then.
Feel a bit of a fraud but in a kind of warm, upright sort of way

Welcome to the first day of Spring !
For the first time since the introduction of the'Traffic Light' weather warning system, we here in Somerset are on a'red' ( risk to life)..
We've had about 4inches of snow since early afternoon, heavy snow, srtong winds and freezing rain expected overnight as storms from East and West merge...
Note to self, perhaps wear saucepan on head when thinking about bolting all that nice bling to bike so Mrs Nature can't read my thoughts ?

All the local schools shut and there's .5 of an inch of snow and no wind, bloody schoolteachers are snowflakes, we haven't even had a frost today.
I walked from Chertsey to Shepperton then onto Weybridge before the last bit back home 11 miles altogether in 4 hours which included shopping, whats happening to this country?

Everyone is scared shitless of litigation incase they make the wrong call, for instance it is easier for a head teacher to decide to close a school rather than face a lawsuit from parents/pupils/teachers having a mishap on the school run and blaming said mishap on school because it should have closed...
Arab taxi driver logic can have those no win no fee guys loving this kinda shit

Don't we know it and the nasty part of it is that parents won't take a school to court if they have to take a day off and don't get paid. Meanwhile the teachers are paid and they'll still take their holidays. IMO its time that schools have to put another day in when they shut at the end of term, so shut 5 days, you have to open a week longer.
