Tyres

I had a z8 front and a m7 rr rear
Loved the rear for grip but as it went off it started to track poor road surfaces and white lines . It was getting very close to its limit , still fantastic in the wet
I decided as the front was getting cupped to change for a matched pair
Whilst I liked the m7rr it did not last that long so
I decided on a pair of roadtec 01 , wow fantastic they have transformed the bike , I rode back from the tyre fitters in torrential rain and flooded roads , not a flinch , the bike whilst riding carefully was rock steady
Now it's dry the falco just rolls from corner to corner before especially as the tyres wore it took a fair bit of imput , with these new tyres the bike feels so much lighter
I am not a fast rider , so the improved confidence they give is brilliant
Modern tyres worth, every penny !

It's not very indicative to compare an old, worn out tyre to a brand new one. If you put a new set of M7rr's on, you'd be saying the exact same thing.

No doubt that the roadtec 01's are a decent tyre though, and will far outlast the z8 and m7rr.
