So basically any transport that begins with a "B" is a no no.

LOL - you are far from being the only derailer.

I would suggest a "derail-box" (like a swear box but for derailing threads) and put the money into forum funds .... but I know I couldn't afford it myself ....

I'd like to do it as a standing order on my account, can we do that?

I agree, then all that needs to happen is an update on the positive balance rather than ask for top ups to the negative balance......

A little late I know but I've just dropped a few more pennies (literally) in to the tin for the future.

Hi Everyone

Thanks for bailing the forum out at the last time fees needed to be paid. As you all know, we managed to clear our backlog of (previously unknown) unpaid debts.

At that time we also said that we would look into taking responsibility to sort out our own hosting with a view to making things more affordable.

I'm sorry to report that we are not there yet. Those of us that have said we'll be looking at it have been very busy over recent months and have not been able to give this the attention it needs. That said, we still plan to sort it out.

However, now is the time to pay our next chunk of hosting fees to give continuity and gain some time to sort everything out, we are going to need to continue with the existing hosting.
The good news is that we have sufficient in the kitty to be able to pay for it - so no immediate panic.

Nevertheless, we will need to build the kitty back up to allow us to move things when we are ready to do so.

So ....
  • * Please accept our apologies that we haven't yet sorted this out.
    * Please consider contributing to the kitty so that we keep ahead of ourselves and have the funds to move things across when we are ready to do so.
Cheers Folks
