Is it possible to get through your working day without swear
In my case, no. Swearing is the only way to describe certain situations..eg' Don't touch that, its a pile of shit' or ' The lorry is fucked so we're heading back to fleet services'.

I was out in the truck with Mike one day and we were listening to another driver chatting to his oppo (on the CB - remember them?). Just about every other word was a swear word so just for a laugh, Mike called him up and said "Smiths (or whatever) driver - can you not manage to say a whole sentence without swearing?"
Quick as a flash he replied "Course I fucking well can! "
Made us chuckle......

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Working with a large number of colleagues from Eastern Europe and the Baltic - no. My swearing repertoire has been considerably extended by close contact with, particularly, Poles; haven't managed to quite get my tongue around Hungarian, Latvian and Lithuanian yet. I find myself needing to deploy 'walisz konia' on a daily basis.

worked in the steel industry in sheffield most of my life. came from a middle class family, went to university and when doing a sales job I didnt swear. It wasnt normal. But as I climbed the ladder and had blue collar workers to manage, I soon learned that not swearing was seen as stuck up. Particularly not using the F work. So we didnt have engineers we had "engifuckingears" etc. Didnt mean anything much, was just part of normal speach.
Never found myself using it at home or away from the shop floor.
