New Skid Lid

Just bought meself a new roof. About time really, as the current one is getting a bit long in the tooth. Coming on ten years old, and I'm pretty sure the kids have used it as a ball a few times judging by the scuff marks.

I'm not one for the latest fashions. As long as my bonce is well encased in a protective shell, that'll do me.

Got it from this place

www.lidsdirect.co.uk

Delivered tomorrow.. Shall give a verdict when it arrives. Current lid is also and HJC, so am confident with the size I've picked. :smt001

Do you have a special selection of "riding ties" or do you just make do with the ones you wear for all other occasions?

Great. Would have been even better with "spock" ears. Are you going to stick a mohican on it?

Fantastic fit, fantastic comfort, ratchet buckle strap fantastic, drop down sun visor fantastic, wind noise... fucking unbearable :smt009

When I first bought my AGV helmet I found the wind noise unbearable, but not having any more dosh I had to put up with it. But as it got used to the shape of my head - 'bedded in' you might say - the wind noise got less! So I'd say give it a chance!

Wind noise isn't an issue as I use ear plugs anyway. :smt001

Is this the only helmet that requires a liberal coating of factor 50 on sunny days?

If you're into nude sunbathing, no.
