Autonomous Cars

#1 Post by KitchenSync » Sun Mar 29, 2015 8:54 pm

There will be a time soon when a lot of cars will be autonomous and we'll see accidents and fatalities plummet as computers don't need to eat/text/leer/spill coffee as they drive.

But what of the motorcyclist???

Will we get hounded off the roads by insurers as they'll make very little money from car accident claims? Or will life get easier for us as we can safely predict behaviour now erratic humans have been removed from the equation?

Discuss......

I do quite like the sound of the latter..
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

They're trying very hard to hound you lot off the road already - look how difficult (and expensive) it is to get a motorcycle licence, compared with a car licence!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.
