Afternoon all
Is anyone capable of doing CNC milling? Need to get some rearset adapter plates made up.

I saw this on ebay earlier while I was looking for a CNC mill, might be worth a try.

That seems good cost wise, unless you get hit with a massive 'set up' bill for a one off if they break from multi runs

I asked a mate who lives in Basingstoke where that firm are based) - he runs a forum for builders of trikes, hotrods, and any other kind of custom vehicle that anyone can dream up
He says
No, never heard of them I'm afraid Bobbi.
I always use Waldham Engineering in Lennox Road, (behind B & Q for anyone local to Basingstoke). Run by Doug, who's a hotrodder with a big block Ford engined Zephyr. Scottie's the chief CNC guy there, (used to be on the forum as Saddlebags. He had a trike for a while but now rides a Hayabusa.
No idea how they compare, pricewise, with anyone else, but I've always had good service from them.

Funnily enough, I've just finished a drawing of a small part I want machining or laser/waterjet cutting. I've asked them if they're interested in doing one-off parts and will keep y'all posted...

If you want a price for laser cutting, I have an account with a company that does online pricing, if you want to send the file over I can get a price for you for comparison, but laser cutting is expensive for one offs as you have to pay for a run (you'll find that the total price for 8 off is nearly the same as a one off, I usually order a batch if I make something and sell the rest on).
If you need simple turning done like spacers I have a lathe in the workshop so I can do them nice and cheap for you.

Water jet ..... have a word with Willopotomas ..... not saying he can definitely sort you out but 'tis what he does.
Previously he did LASER cutting (but obviously doesn't work there any more)

I did. And I can. Best off speaking direct to Lee though. Getting the time to do stuff even for myself is scarce these days, but he'll find a proper 'slot' to do 'foreign' work.
