I had noticed that Andy had not been on ridersite for a while.
Having being in contact with andy through fb I have established that he feels upset with my little spat a number of weeks ago.
I am quite willing to admit things got out of hand and being wound up said some things that were inappropriate.
I don't know everything about our bikes, And andy has a lot of knowledge to give on the falco.
I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to andy and I am sorry that he feels that he has changed a chapter in his life where he feels he doesn't want to come onto the forum.
I hope in time he changes his mind and can forgive and forget.
Thanks for your time folks.

I too had noticed that Andy had not posted for a wile, and had wondered why.
This site is not the same without you, so please pop back in and see us.
We have both been posting on this site for a LONG time, (perhaps too bloody long!), including time on here the old site and even the old CPlus site.
I've been a bit busy lately, with xmas, a wedding anniversary, another bloody birthday of my own, (lost count, but now over 50 years on a bike), and a special birthday for Terri, which has brought us to Lanzarote today for a 2 week extended celebration.
This meant I never got around to asking where you were, so please pop back into the bar and have a drink to celebrate some of the above.

Who else but DR can give such an advanced answer to any question and still rip the piss at the same time ?

I'd noticed Andy had been quiet too. Some of us have been on here since inception (and the old ARS days) and Andy was instrumental in getting us over to Ridersite (along with Tim and SamRay). It's a poorer place without you mate so don't stay away too long.
Fair play Jay - thanks for the explanation too.

Decent thing to say Blinkey. I guess we all have gone that bit too far at times and then pressed the enter button .

Hi Everyone
Just a quick visit to let you know I’m still here. I’ve not picked up my ball and stormed off saying I’m not playing any more”.
Yes there was a bit of a difference of opinion which degenerated into my honesty being questioned but rather than have fisticuffs on our forum, I decided the better way for peace and harmony was to just go “low profile” for a while and let things settle down.
I’ve been about in the background and even pm’d a couple of people who needed a bit of advice – I’ve just not been posting.
This has coincided with a lot of things happening for me and the family that have required time to work on – so a bit of space from forum things has been welcome. My wife’s mum died last week so we’re currently involved in sorting out arrangements etc and prior to that she was needing a lot of support – and my mum is needing ever increasing support (I know others on here are in similar positions) …. plus getting my son’s business off the ground …. plus a load of other stuff.
So although I’m in low profile mode, I’m still around in the background.
Thanks to all who’ve said they’ve missed me (despite it being a tad embarrassing) …. but don’t forget there are a number of others that have disappeared too and none of the Ridersite family is more important than another.
