did anyone see the norton at the NEC?

I was quite taken by it - the detailed finish when you looked closely was absolutely first rate. Good engineering rather than cheap mass production. The basics of the bike are old fashioned so no way would it live with a modern sports bike but it is air cooled ( as all good bikes should be IMO), twin cylinder and not cursed with all the fancy electronics that most modern bikes get.

I suppose you could look at it as a sort of British Harley in that it harks back to an earlier time. But unlike the Harley it looks to be designed to go and to stop.

I thought the 961's were a beautiful creation and then watched as Norton bolloxed up production etc. I hope if they decide to produce these they do a better job.
