For the third month in a row our new operations manager has screwed up the wages, some of the guys have still not received overtime for August bank holiday.
Our new pay rise has not been implemented, the back pay to July has not been paid and we have been paid at the pre pay rise rate for this month,no overtime paid at all...
Which is abysmal as we now start earlier an finish later as he has taken a lorry off the road so we have an increased work load and work overtime on a daily basis........
We are contracted to work overtime, occasionally, where necessary, not daily.
So no more overtime then Mr Manager, and you just told me you have added 90 mins to my Monday round.....
Fuck off and die

A little research reveals that failure to pay for any work done, late payment, shortfalls ect. amount to 'unlawful deduction from wages'.therefore a breach of my contract of employment.
Some ass gonna get kicked tomorrow !

It'll be interesting to see if/how your employer reacts to the recent ruling on regular overtime and holiday pay.
There are some comments you might find interesting and revealing in this link - note what the source is

Thanks for that link Mart, that's another hurdle to cross very soon,be interesting indeed to see how they deep with that issue as the voluntary occasionall overtime is now a daily thing. Only 2 out of 37 crews finished on time today

A chat with the Union might help too.
The Unions are brilliant with legal stuff

Nah, that would only be the case if he was part of it but Mart said he was it.

Fatboy is a union rep, my new manager has had some 10 plus years dealing with my union but now has decided he is King Canute.
A union rep is only as good as the support they get from above and below,Fatboy now wishes to kick people and say I told you to tell your manager you were not in agreement with blah and blah proposed changes but you did not bother manager says No one but you (me) spoke to me so I can't see the problem and I get my own way sucker !
Union officer seems to be off radar because he knows I want to rip his head off
