Poop, hope you're in reasonable shape though. The human body can a fickle thing about repairs.

If the damage is purely cosmetic you could of course buy it back if they do write it of and get it sorted yourself.

As others have said, glad you're OK. Knackered crash helmet but intact head is a pretty good result!

Glad you are ok the write off is graded and they can deduct the buy back accordingly the main price hike is between c and b I think
Don't ask how I know :(
Anyway they tend to write them off as they have to note every scratch. Then it becomes beyond economic repair take any non standard stuff off before they pick it up especially if they are not declared

Thanks again Mart for that one :)
You will be able to argue to some degree if you use say auto trader and find comparable bikes for sale

If it's a write-off and you don't buy it back, just make sure you don't take the first offer - they always start with as l,ittle as they think they might get away with!

Glad you bounced!

Glad you're in one piece. Don't feel obliged to salvage the bike on our account, do what makes sense for you.

At the rate Flatlander is destroying the bloody things the odd write off here or there isn't going to affect the batting average...

True bit look on the bright side I am improving the availability of spares and increasing the rarity value the remaining 50 or so will be worth a fortune at this rate!!

Glad you are ok, as Blinkey says... the bike can be fixed or changed. Hope you get back on the saddle soon. Take care.
