2015 Touring: CANADA!!! Any one done it?

#1 Post by Falco Frank » Fri Oct 10, 2014 2:54 pm

Following what seems to be our IOM TT let-down, my Scottish buddy was inspired by an MCN article recently

on touring in Canada.

I see its available now, here:

Vancouver and British Columbia to be precise.

Thinking of August 2015 and a 10 day tour, bikes to be hired (probably GS BMW's), expensive but, I gotta

say, after reading some reviews and the scenery from the Rocky Mountains ALONE, I'm inspired too.

This is the tour company I've contacted:

Comments, very welcome

Looks superb. I 've done a little on the other coast. Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia to be precise, using a choice of my brother's bikes. Would love to do the Rockies some day.
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today

My youngest lad Matt is in Canada and he says don't worry, just about every road in Canada is amazing. Carry a gerry can though because fuel stops can be few and far between especially further north.

Canada is beautiful, especially about this time of year as all the trees change colour from green to oceans of yellow / orange / red.

I lived there for a few years back in the 70s. I wouldn't want to live there now - cold weather and I don't get along terribly well anymore. :smt002
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
