Folk may recall that I was assaulted in June

Several witnesses and person identified

Cambridgeshire police HAVE STILL NOT INTERVIEWED HIM

Formal complaint made....

Apparently they were busy!

Nowadays unless the crime involves the theft of donuts or the kettle that makes their brew I doubt they'd be very interested.

Cambridgeshire must be such a hot spot for crime if they were too busy, remind me never to visit :smt001

Question is will they be too busy to answer your complaint? It's a shite state of affairs and no mistake(apologies to Irvine Welsh for nicking a Trainspotting line), just another reason I am looking to depart these shores for somewhere with better roads, weather and a place I can live far enough away from other people.

Hope you get a decent resolution to it all

Saw this and thought there had been a minor spelling error in reporting a break out from the place you run ......

Now I see what it's really about, I hope your complaint gets things moving.

You set your expectation too high we have been waiting for 10 years for them to respond about the theft of one of my two mums caravan you needed to say that you had been assaulted by a law abiding citizen who had a job and may have been speeding away from the incident

Gimps the majority of them are mmnnn

was called by a senior chap from norfolk - they thanked me for the complaint as they have been "disappointed" by the lack of action from cambridgeshire

told to expect action by mid week

person responsible informed that unless he voluntarily goes to be interviewed, then he will have a warrant issued for his arrest - why the bloody hell that was not done before....

I'd be pretty sure that there would be almost instantaneous action if you were to nip round to this blokes house and knock several shades of shit out of him though!

I think you are right there !
My mate caught a burglar that had climbed over a 6 foot fence and was trying to crop the lock off his bike, he went out in the garden with his dog, the thieving bastard threatened him and the dog with a knife so he got twatted with what came to hand, a bit of timber!
When the law turned up they asked the burglar if he wanted to press charges for assult ffs !
Hope you get a result on this one.

A guy I knew got his wife to call the cops when someone was breaking into their garage ... Well see if we've got someone available...... Good as my husband has just gone out with a baseball bat !
Less than 5 minutes later 4 cars

Another time we got threatened with a knife my mate called the police and said he was a constable from a neighbouring force on a night out ... He wasn't but again 4/4 cars in less than 5 minutes

Now sounding better (not difficult!), hope it goes well from here.
Must remind you of last time, which makes it all very difficult!
Hope it all gets sorted quickly.
