Mmm. Nice big rocket ship! I always liked the way they blended the indicators into the bodywork rather than the usual stick-on afterthoughts on most bikes.

That's nice, but couldn't you get one of the tasteful purple and orange ones?

Looks really nice Will, it should be very comfy and fast, a lot like my old CBR1000F that I had for 7 1/2 years, you are always going a lot quicker than you think as it is so comfy and has good wind protection.
Mine got a nickname of the supersonic sofa.
ENJOY!

Now fully serviced and a few things sorted, I took the wife for a spin last night. What a machine! Dare I say I enjoyed it more than the Falco, or am I likely to get lynched?

Good call mate. I've owned a 1200 for over 10 years and 70,000 miles, and still love it. Will be riding it from Spain & over the Pyrenees to Le Havre in a couple of weeks. Only thing with the 1100 is the brakes, not great and a bit prone to seizing. But yes, as one wag put it, the love child of a rocket and a sofa. Enjoy.
