Yesterday I used the power of Facebook allied to the kindness of bikers to help out a friend stuck in hospital 100+ miles from home with no friends in the area and a dying phone with no charger. he now has a charger and a local contact, courtesy of a bloke I only met once at a rally.

I messaged him on FB, told him what kind of phone, he looked up what charger it needed, borrowed one from a friend, took it to the hospital and left my firend with his moby number in case he needed anything else. When I thanked him he said "We're only here once, we may as well try and help someone" :smt041

Who wouldn't be a biker?

This is the family we speak of in biker language. Not many understand it, and it's often mocked, but family is everything. :smt002

BTW, when I say 'biker' it means those of us on two or three wheels - shorthand for motorcyclist, whatever - I don't differentiate. Scooter folks are great too.
