Grandson no 1 has been given an old yamaha pw50 kiddies scrambles type bike. Grandpa has been given it to do up. Whether it will ever get given to grandson is the source of some family debate but in the meantime its clogging up the garage ( well there is a lot of other stuff in there!). So I'm doing what I enjoy doing - taking it completely to bits and fettling it.

The front forks are both seized and bent. Any ideas where I might get a set of serviceable forks from? Tried ebay and whilst there are forks on there, they are all either in china or the usa so postage is silly money.

They can be bought in the uk. A bike shop in wales was advertising them on ebay a while ago. Keep checking..... :smt002

That's Milton Keynes.
Nope BG these are original spares. The company I was talking about was selling them inline with the prices from America and hong kong on ebay, but delivery was a lot cheaper.

It was just a thought and the first thing that came up on google - didn't look at the prices. Anyway if you order from outside the UK you end up paying import duty and extra handling fees etc etc, got to factor that in.

And on checking, the site I posted has both genuine and aftermarket parts.
