Have a safe trip Blinkey. As GregD says - Westgate Hill is worth a visit. Lots of cool bike shops as well as the big dealers.

Hey Jay, where will you be working? I live in the East but I work in Glasgow most days. If your schedule allows, maybe I could buy you a pint before I head home one night.

As a Scot, you're not entitled to one! I only buy drink for visitors to our country. Can't have them thinking we all want rid of them and that we're all mean!

Funny you should say that, Cathcart! My late Grandfather came from Charlestown.

I managed to catch up with Dusty on friday afternoon. It was nice to meet up with another member of Ridersite. There is a distinct chance he maybe tempted into buying another falco?
I hope you can make one of the future meets we discussed

Blinkey is the first Ridersite member that I've met in the flesh so I now know that you guys are real, and not virtual, forum members.
I freely admit that I should never have sold my Flamingo Red/Anthracite Falco but it seemed the right move at the time. Perhaps one day I shall indeed acquire another, although there is more chance of me making it to a meet before that happens. I have 2 bikes currently, and that will not become 3 unless I'm looking for a divorce.
I hope that you made it home without incident after your foray north of Hadrian's Wall, Blinkey.

Yes I made it to Newcastle without any problems
I also went to the bike shops that Greg d suggested. I could have easily spent 50 grand if I had the funds. The pennigale with a tricolour paint scheme in the Ducatti/ Kawasaki dealership looked so yummy. £19.000 was the price tag. I need a lottery win
