Castrol 2 Stroke oil

#1 Post by T.C. » Tue May 14, 2013 12:18 pm

If anyone is using Castrol 2 stroke oil, beware there has been a product recall due to contamination http://www.castrolmoto.com/en/recall.php?recall

Probably the same for most of us here.

Reason I posted it though is because if anyone has youngsters on Mopeds and the like, many of which are still 2 stroke, then it may be relevant and helpful to them.

My stroker has been in the shed for years. And I never considered it worthy of Castrol anyway.
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Yes I understand TC. I use Yamaha low smoke 2 stroke oil in the LT50 and the PW50.
The heads up is good info :smt002

Nope - still got 2 of them (TZR250 and 350YPVS), but always run Castrol 747

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.
