Right I am officially fucked off now... Last Friday built my bodge for the hi levels ... This week get sine standard ones for mot ... So now have to un bodge then attach them ... Fine so far but then two headlight bulbs blew dismantle front end last two bulbs go in 1high 1low so still need one high but at least ok for MOT ... Except in refitting back end the number plate bulb stops working .... Fail so dismantle again bodge new light as old one is led and no replacement bulb ... Refit diff connection ... Dismantle refit and put new connection in all good
... Pit everything together cause two scratches refitting side panels never mind shot happens ... At least finally its ALL done Happy Days missed two MOT. Slots but at least it's all done ... Lets fire her up and .... Fuck all ! Except the suspicious clicking from one of the relays in the boot ( 3rd one down from back ) oh and numberplate light is out again so reset that and that works but fuck it o mean I have been so patient I deserve better oh well back to the drawing board and empty yet another cupboard to look for a relay bigger still got to put the wardrobe together too

And thems my first world problems for today ... Rant over ... For now


I forgot I can't change the relay as the seat hump cable is not releasing the hump so that's what I've got ... The bleeding hump

Good news boot is unlocked and I think the clicking relay may be because the battery did a black falco on me and didn't survive the winter

Back on charge and only up to weak after 12 hours is not , I believe , a good sign

Stil got some dragon supeecorsas coming so be interesting to try some new tyres if I ever get back on the 3 legged mule

Today, I have mainly been upsetting hardly moving sons....

mine has been on the optimate it just doesnt like being stationary for this long its not used to it unlike many of the blacker ones

I've just ordered an Exide one from eBay, only a few quid cheaper than yuasa but the reason I ordered it was because I've used Exide in cars before and rate them quite highly so thought I'd try their bike range.

Time will tell. Think it was £34.94 or something.

I've got an SVR/Wesco battery from Tayna. Bit pricey, but it's lasted really well and seems to have a pretty good throw as it's supposed to have a higher CCA than some others (so hopefully mitigating future sprag clutch worries)

Knowing my luck, the sprag will pop now...

I've bought several batteries from Tayna recently - they seem to be a very good outfit and their prices seem good.
I tend to stick with Yuasa batteries - had a few poor experiences with cheapie brands.
