Have you got the special tool for tightening / removing the swingarm pivot?

You don't need the Aprilia special tool as an FR6 BMX freewheel removal tool fits at a fraction of the price - that's what I used (haven't got it at present - lent it to Will)

Here's one if you're not sure what to look for: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002 ... 79Q2ZRF9YE

I think the tightening procedure is in the workshop manual.

A good guide to doing the swinging arm swap is on C-plus' site: http://apriliafalco.hadeler.net/index.p ... ins_shock/

Easiest way to support the bike to play with the swing arm is with an abba stand and the foot rest mounts

With that fitted its easy - while you are doing it, Change all the suspension bearings

Andy has all the answers - I am younger and have black pubes still
