More money
Better buildings
Sharper suits
Shit health care getting shittier

Why might that be d"ya think
Managers
National malaise
Shit patients

Just wondering like as I take a break from calling the surgery to go down to request the repeat prescription in person so that I can come back in 48 hours to collect the prescription.

Fek it give the money to poorer countries at least it might get spent on medicine

quite right and the recommendation that repeat prescriptions are reduced from 56 to 28 days so you can pay twice for the same medication.

our surgery opens at 8 no one can get through so you turn up at 8 get the appointment and come back after 10 sometime except that now they are not going to open the doors till 830

I just exaggerate and tell them I have been in contact with people from the wetlands and may have some terrible lurgy :smt002

Prescription pre-payment certificate?

It's saving me about £400.00 a year

So write and complain to your mp

Send it to parliament address - it has to be responded too....

Repeat scripts - I do mine online.... May just be a wetlands thing....

As for hospital parking - yep, robbing bastards.... So do a formal request under the public disclosure stuff to ensure that all revenue raised is 100% spent on direct patient care....

Use the bike; there's usually somewhere to park where you won't incur a parking charge.

Our nearest hospital, Kidderminster, is quite bike-friendly - some thoughtful person put up a notice in the area used by most for bike parking, warning users of soft tarmac in hot weather

It'l all be privatised soon. Then companies will be profiting from the sick, elderly and death.

The whole idea is morbid in my opinion.

Flatlander, MartDude has a point there, pre payment thingy can save you a fair few beer tokens, pay for 3,6 or 12 months, well worth looking into.
How are the injuries healing ?
Hope you can wipe your own butt these days :smt002

.... which I do if it's just me visiting - but when Joy is visiting for anything other than her treatment or when I'm taking my mum to visit my dad, it's not really a viable option
