Blast from the past

Last night I was the guest speaker at the Kent Advanced Motorcycle Groups monthly meeting at Brands Hatch.

I started the presentation, looked down at there sat in front of me was my old Police motorcycle instructor Terry Friday who I have not seen in over 30 years.

Afterwards we had a long chat and it was like we only had a conversation yesterday.

It was nice to be able to thank him after all these years, because anything I have achieved subsequently in the motorcycle world can be attributed to him

awesome, great to catch up with old mates especially ones that have been influential in your life.

There are a few people who's paths I hope to cross in the future. But in a good way, rather then the usual grief. Encouraging to know it does happen and is as rewarding as hoped.
