"12.03.221 CORRESPONDENCE FOR INFORMATION
12.03.221.1 Safer Roads Partnership - regarding Community Concern Programme - A44 Route
Worcester to Kington. The Safer Roads Partnership was writing to each local Parish Council along this road to inform them of its intention to set up and deliver speed enforcement along the A44 under its Community Concern Programme. The Partnership had, over the past few months, received numerous requests from local residents and parish councils who had expressed concern about excessive speeds and a number of collisions on this route. The Partnership would like to launch speed enforcement activity in the near future but require support from the Parish Councils before progressing this action any further.
It was proposed by Cllr Roberts, seconded by Cllr Norman and carried that Council fully supports the Safer Roads Partnership’s intention to set up and deliver speed enforcement along the A44 under its Community Concern Programme.

Cllr Hunt referred to the A44 being a “race track” for motorcycles on Sunday mornings and suggested that this be included in Council’s response. Cllr Norman reported that she had informed the Safer Roads Partnership about what Council was doing at Barons Cross with regard to speed limits and a pedestrian crossing, suggesting that Council also might wish to include this in its response"

Hi all,

GeeWizz, I forgot that cars are exempt speeding under this proposal :smt017 Always blame the biker! Bet the local priest in these wards, speed like hell all over. The experience I have had with the clergy, is that they often speed. Something to do with closeness to god, gives them a sense of above the law........

I wonder if Cllr. Hunt is related to the Jeremy of that ilk, and shares his alias.

So

A comment was stated and recorded

So challenge it as discrimination

Make a formal complaint - and ask if proven for further action to be taken

The laws on discrimination are quite clear so..... Unless his comments can be upheld then the whole thing should and has to be questioned
