Just insured a third bike at a cost of £53.50 has an additional one to my policy.
It turns out i can have 27 bikes on this one policy and all at 53.50 each weather it be a honda 90 or a 1000cc bike which i was very surprised at.
This is comprehensive cover!
Has any one else come accross this?

I had 2 bikes on my ebike policy and I was pleasantly surprised by the relatively small increase to add the second. However, I have no idea how many I could have had. Mrs Dusty wasn't happy with 2 so goodness knows what she'd have said to 27!

Yeh, got mine on a multi bike. Classic one, so it's miles cheaper.

A few years back I had a multi bike policy - classic insurance - but moved as they didn't give NCD. Won't become an issue again until I get the 400/4 back on the road .... and no idea when I'll get time to do that .....

A 400/4 DR? You lucky man. I desperately wanted one of these when I was in my late teens but my budget wouldn't stretch to it, so I had to make do with a Kawasaki z400 twin. A tad boring but an OK bike; just nowhere near as cool as the 400/4. Is yours blue or red (there may also have been a yellow one)?

Red one 1976 model - I've had it since it was 1 year old.
First gen colours but one of the later ones with the 1mm longer engine studs and pillion pegs mounted on the frame rather than the swinger.
Has a rather rusty Yoshimura pipe ... hoping I can get a stainless one made up using it as a template.
Recently picked up a NOS Yoshimura 466cc kit for it.

Suspension will be completely changed in my rebuild ....

I had a 400/4 - went to the local auction house for a rocking horse for my grand-daughter, and bought a motorbike! It was prettyy much complete, and had compression - but the whole thing was covered in red oxide paint!

Was going to restore it but you know how it goes......... It said outside my back door for 2 years under a canvas cover, till the cover finally disintergrated, then I sold it (by that time I'd damaged my leg and knew I would never ride it)

Bought for £70, sold for £100 two years later - but I wish I'd had a chance to ride it!

I do like the look of those classic policies, I understand the bikes have to be 10yrs old and mine all fit the bill. My problem is that I understand there's a 3000mile per annum limit and that's a bit of a pain

Excellent! .... just found a YouTube clip of a 400/4 with the same Yoshi pipe as mine (and the Yoshi piston kit I've got ready for mine)
That really brings the sound back to me ..... it was even better when pushing up towards the red line - did that thing howl

Yes me too Blinkey - I'm with ebike and put the new Tiger 1050 on the same policy as the Falco for the princely sum of £37 fully comp with all the extras. I was surprised too!

I imagine you're talking about Honda, I've got 1 as well, most of its sealed in vacuum bags for the day i get round to getting it painted and rebuilt) Mines a 1975, which I got off Tim a good few years ago now, its got one whole engine and another that needs half a case. It was that ghastly red they used to do but its going to become a blue one.

I imagine i'll get round to it when i retire

Well if you think about it, the only extra risk they have when you add a second bike is that one of them may be nicked . You cant ride two at once and since most claims come from road accidents, two bikes are no more of a claims risk than one is, apart from fire and theft.
