A few things about world politics bother me, and its always the injustice when the First World is happy for the Third World to suffer horribly.
This awful situation was creeated by our own govt. in 1917.
If it bothers you then please look

Sorry if this is difficult for moderators/admin
Im not asking anyone to state who is right, who is wrong, sod the politics, its time for the suffering to end for both Arab and Jew

Your sentiments do you credit but apart from expressing sentiments, what are you saying?
These sort of low level conflicts never end without one side or another being victorious. Thats why the Irish terrorists are rising again - we cannot defeat them and they havent yet won. Technology cannot beat terrorist style street warfare as the Viet Cong proved, and the Afghans did with the Russians and are doing with us.
The only difference with the Israelis is that their backs are against the sea - nowhere to go.

There have been wars and battles for 'The Promised Land' for thousands of years. What makes anyone think it will stop now?
But I agree, its a terrible thing when innocent people die.

So long as the head rabbi controls the White House, this war will have no end

I wholly blame religion for causing Wars. (Conflicts tend to be caused by material possessions such as oil and precious stones and minerals)
Keeps me and my mates in employment though.
I really haven't bothered following the events in the area.. they've been having pops at each other for years and in genuine shocking honesty, I really don't care. There's enough people there inside both countries to have squared away their problems by now. If they can't square their own admin away without dragging others in to sort it for them, then they aren't going to succeed without bloodshed. Let them get on with it and see what the end result is.
Brutal maybe, but as MB says here have been wars and battles for 'The Promised Land' for thousands of years. You think someone would've called 'Submit' by now.. and those IDF girls really are amazingly hot...
Oh and no I dont agree with innocent people dying in massacres but define innocent other than children. Hamas are elected by the people despite what others call them (terrorists). Similarly in Israel, the government is elected.. by the people..

I think that's too simplistic. Wars are caused by a number of different factors and where religion is a factor, it tends to be due to people's corruption of the religion. Few faiths sanction violence let alone war.
People's desire for power is probably the strongest motivator.

Although I have sympathy with the view that the people elect the governments and the people must share in responsibility for what is done in their name, I think this does break down at the individual level.
Other than in effective dictatorships, no ruling party approaches 100% of the vote (and in those regimes that do, you'd be unlikely to say that the rulers do what they do in the name of the ordinary people). Therefore there is a sizeable proportion of the public that have not given those in power their blessing. Also, people are given limited choice on what they can vote for and have to select from a number of overlapping "packages" of policies. Even in this country, none of those packages contain an option that would preclude armed conflict and even if it did, some of those that would support that may opt for a different "package" due to the general mix of what is in each.
..... so yes, in some ways, "the people" are responsible but that doesn't mean that every individual supports the actions and necessarily fully shares that responsibility.

There's only one reason we have wars, the human race, they'll never go away until humans are eradicated, we love wars its in our gene's

War, war is stupid.
And people are stupid.
Boy George.
The few Israelis I've met make Abu Hamza seem like a moderate.
And at this point I'd like to say Hi to all the government types now reading this thread. You're doing a sterling job.

And numerous UN resolutions, over several decades
Beginning to think the Romans, under the emperor Hadrian, had the right idea back in 136 AD.
Oh, silly, forgot - that's what started this whole business
