Skyfall. New Bond flick.

#1 Post by Willopotomas » Fri Nov 09, 2012 5:57 pm

Any true Bond fan should go and see this film. It's bloody brilliant and the best 'Craig' Bond effort by a long shot. I won't give anything away, but it's very clever, witty and sad. Very enjoyable. 10/10 :smt003

I've never actually seen a Bond film. Many find this hard to believe but it's true.

I've never actually seen a Star Wars film. Many find this hard to believe but it's true (unless the YouTube of Eddie Izzard's Star Wars Canteen counts as one ... now that is brilliant)

Excellent - operation decoy still works .... once the early detection system has detected the unwelcome intruder.

If only we'd perfected that before 14th November 1940 ............

Why if I'd gone to the football they could have doubled the attendance

You'd like films. They're a bit like what the butler saw but with sound and colour.
Soon as Coventry gets the new fangled lectric try one out.

I have watched a few films .... even as recently as yesterday on the plane but they are overrated. Much prefer books - they let you use your own imagination to create scenes etc. A much more stimulating experience.

Let me guess

Andy's favourite book is "50 shades of Gray"

;)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Nah - I don't have a "favourite" book - I enjoy the unknown adventure of a new book.
I guess I have a few favourite authors that can usually be relied on for a good tale

I went to see it last week. I was no where near as impressed as Chris Evans. Ok , fun, mildly enjoyable but very contrived and if the leaders of the secret service think that using a tourch after dark is the best way to keep hidden, then they diserve everything the badies can throw at them......doh!

yeah but you were probably onle looking for schemes to dispose of armed pikey gamekeepers so your focus may have been off. As for Andy he doesn't have a Favourite book because he cant remember what hes just read ...

He's probablty been reading the same 12 pages for the last 5 years age its a wonderful thing apparently the consequences of aging aren't so wonderful though :(
