I need a new jacket and trousers but I cant put up with having my kit Nylon lined as I have an allergy to it plus the fact it makes me sweat which then brings on the eczama. I just cant seem to find kit that isnt lined with the dam stuff, So does anybody know of some kit that has a more preferable lining like cloth. Thanks John.

I got my leathers made by
http://www.btkleathers.com/
Very good service, decent kit, made to measure no less! The lining im sure in mine is cloth, even so, they hand make the kit, so you should be able to specify the lining to suit your particular needs
*edit*
just checked the site, it's polycotton whatever that is

I bought some third hand leathers and had them relined with red silk. Was relatively cheap :)

I used to wear a pair of silk pyjamas with my leathers. then they fell to bits. I've just bought an end roll of silk (well last month) cost me £10 for about 9 metres. I'm going to have a go at lining my leathers with that.
One thing tho, if you do that you need to put a zip in the trousers so that you can wash them after any brown moment

If your allergy is to nylon which is a polyamide, then try some with a terylene lining ie polyester. Or just a plain cotton one. The label insiode the garment will tell you what the lining is.

They don't make 'em long enough, but TBO does it matter what colour they are.
The roll I've got is red, it'll help hide the blood if I come a cropper

Buy a Barbour jacket and stuff, thats cotton lined ain't it? If you put enough wax on it not only will it be waterproof, but if you come off, you'll just fling down the road without any abrasion! HTH
