Unfortunately its looking unlikely. My best mate is doing an 8 month trip around the world and has selected this weekend for his farewell bash and final ride-out.
His hornet will be taking up residence for 8 months. Outside.

.... it can hardly be described as an "around the world trip" if it fails to include Norfolk ..... an ideal start point

Had to do a double take then, my old FZS600 was done in the same paint scheme, then realised yours is an FZ1. If I end up with another Yam at any point I want it in those colours again

It's the official Yamaha 50th anniversary retro body kit. Imported it from the US myself after removing the previous owner's stickers that the twunt stuck on with superglue destroying the original grey body kit

Did about 200 miles on the 1199 today. She is a strange beast - very narrow due to there being no frame so not much to brace against. Handling is very light, almost changing direction by thought alone. She is quick but I expected more torque. In fact for a 1199 V she exhibits many IL4 traits in terms of power delivery.
I could not live with here though - just too focused and not designed for my 6'2 frame.
