My dad, a friend of mine, his lad and myself are heading up to watch the Sky Blues battle a friendly game away against the mighty Inverness Caledonian Thistle on July 21st.
If that isn't dedication, then it's bound to be sure lunacy.

A mate of mine was on a rugby tour up in Scotland one time and in the pub saw a group of blokes wearing t shirts saying something like the Stranraer supporters club Crewe branch.
Anyway he got talking to them and basically it's a group that wanted a reason to regularly go away on the bikes stuck Scottish football teams names in a hat and hey presto.

Hmm.. Makes sense that. Probably why my dad started supporting Inverness all those years ago. He's been an avid Caledonian fan for the best part of 35 years..
We used to holiday up there and got to know the place quite well. My brother now lives in a village just outside of Inverness, so that's digs sorted for the night.

Had an excellent trip up to Inverness.. Unfortunately Cov lost 3-1, but it was quite surreal seeing them play at a ground I've been to many times before.
The drive there and back wasn't too bad.. It's been a few years since I last drove up there.. It's amazing how you forget just how far it is
