No pacts with the devil I'm afraid (at least none I can remember) and nothing to do with Goethe, Marlowe, Nietzche et al.....

Purely that at some point in the past I had to come up with a username for some site or other. All the obvious names were rejected ( hard to believe they were already used but my attempts were rejected anyway) and I had been reading about the Cycling greats like Merkx and Coppi. I just thought Fausto seemed a great name and it works in all the forums I try it in... so far :smt017

Its one reason I gave up Twizzle, some b'stard used it on loads and I was even threatened by one bloke on a forum in the belief I was the other one.

James (Marshall) having changed it from Johnny (Allen) as he was originally registered by his mother on 7 Dec 1942.

I've been 'viking' for more years than I care to remember. In fact, I can't really recall how I got the name. :smt010 Maybe old age is catching up with me....

Mine comes from the traditional nick name that me and my brother and now my sons have all been known as since childhood.. Shill. It gets interesteing when were all in the pub together and someone shouts "eh Shill".

So I am DavShill, not very original really.
