Coor.. Dalwhinnie.. What a line up there! I'm yet to try the Macallan Gold, although I do know they can't say how old it is, as they've ran out of aged stock. Chap in Whiskey Shop in Inverness told me mate that. (My mate then bought a bottle, but got it £8 cheaper from Morrisons haha)

The Dalwhinnie was EXCELLENT! and almost HALF price in ASDA - that promotion didnt last long as they sold out in a few days...

I'm not that keen on the MacAllen Gold, dont like the 'burnt' aftertaste but I do really enjoy the ordinary MacAllen.

Just got a 3 bottle minature JURA set from Amazon of all places!

Jura superstition is very interesting - but 'odd' so I wanted to buy some tasters before I took the plunge.

The jura I am a quarter down the bottle.
One of the lads at work had a bottle of Glenmorangie that was in his cupboard from an xmas present.
He wanted rid of it so I bought it for a tenner.
Tbh. I prefer the Glenmorangie to the jura , but only just.
But the collection is growing.

Cider is good, in fact I am taking the Falco to a cider festival next weekend and camping overnight. Farm brewed cider and lovely strong cheese, can't wait.
sounds excellent to me. particularly if its real cider using traditional cider apple varieties - a lot of cheap cider these days uses imported apple juice I believe. bland.
Most definitely real cider, from local cider farms :smt003
Panniers? Space in them? Anywhere near Bristol? :smt008
Roll top bag, might have space :smt002 it's on just the other side of Bridgewater so ordinarily I'd be going down the A303
Found a local farmhouse making proper cider just on our doorstep so I bought a 20 litre taster pack last week, into the top box and home with it. Been awa at a uni re-union and goodwood since then so havent tried it yet.

Highland Park. Now I do like that. Costco have it at the moment for £20.. Payday on Thursday, so may have to take a wander down for a bottle. They also do Singleton for about the same price.

Never been able to sustain a collection, the bottles keep emptying as fast as I can buy or get given, them....

I often go for a good Irish Wiskey. The last one being a Jameson's Special reserve. I did have quite a few Laphroiag canisters kicking around in the garage though. (I know this because I tried making baffles for my BM's race exhausts out of them.)
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today
