going to try and get a repair (hopefully) rather than replace as needs a service too at moment.....and unfortunately cash is finite.... :smt009

I know it's a ways off from you, but the local bloke at Kingston Tyres in erm.... Kingston, does vulcan repairs. Melts a rubber patch to the inside of the tyre. Won't guarantee Z rated tyres, but I've had them done (two on onw tyre once) with no ill effects. £10 to £15.

I've got the number if you like.

thanks for info dale, very kind of you, unfortunately i only have sunday off this week, luckily there's a bike shop called the motorcycle shack where i'm working at moment in seaford, east sussex, so i took bike in this morning and walked back to work, he says can be repaired £20 ish, so that's fine by me if does it OK.

right pain as haven't had a nail in about 3 years now.....did about 200 miles till got this so reluctant to lash out on a new one again!!! so we'll see how it goes with repair.

It actually rides fine with it at moment......

p.s. is it just me or is the front tyre valve an absolute pain to get a garage air line onto???

i think the tesco one's are ok, however reluctant to fill up there as last time i went there they let me fill up with fuel and then refused to serve me/let me pay at the kiosk unless i took helmet off, i refused so cashier walked off......so what am i supposed to do, ride off without paying?? :smt013

i was so fuming :smt013 that luckily i'd just topped up with a bit of petrol and had £6 in coins so just threw them over the counter onto floor behind the till....... :smt018

wouldn't have been so dramatic with a note gently fluttering around??? :smt005

:smt005 excellent. I don't understand their problem. If you were going to rob them you would already have started before they asked you to take your lid off.

I had a proper punch up with a M&S security guard when I refused to remove my helmet 'coz it was a flipup and it was open. I dropped the guard with judicious use of the aforementioned helmet, looked like a busted nose, but didn't hang about to find out.

Anyhoo, bravado aside, have you tried the right angled adaptor jobbies? I always carry one in my pocket.

I was thinking of sticking up the vid I did Sunday but at a massive 730 Mb its not likely 2 happen.

If any one wants a copy then pm me with your addy and I'll send it on a cd/dvd.

Unless someone knows how to compress it all as I don't fancy faffing about editing it into smaller bits.
