Hanna called the pub, the one by the campsite, earlier today to book in for her and James

whilst chatting, it was revealed that those bikers are going back again....

the response?

"Oh Good"

they enjoyed having us there and i think their profits probably showed that LOL

confirmed attendees so far:

Hanna
Pete
Craig
Juliee

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Could you please send me the details for the pub if it's doing beds and the rest of the details so I know if I need it. That way I don't have to use the search function :smt003
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

I'll be posting up details - location, directions, catering, costs etc etc shortly. In the meantime, most of that information is on here, in the stickies/announcements for last year's meet.

The only significant difference this year is that I shan't bother trying to arrange for The Crown to do breakfasts for campers - it was the general consensus that it was over-priced. The breakfast arrangements on the camp-site will be better organised, so we don't have the ad-hoc confusion of last year. This means, amongst other things, that you won't have to bring your own cooking equipment, unless you want to.

Hi Mart,

Is the 25th to 27th May confirmed then? That'd work out well for me, by then I'll have saved enough shekels for three tanks of liquid gold for my old RST Futura and I'd like to punt it up to Salop for it's first R S meet.
O.K. if a 1050 Sprint ST comes along also, or is this purely Aprilia? I take it from some previous posts that all are welcome but best be sure.

Hi Robbo. Ridersite is not a forum just for Aprilias - though we do have a strong Aprilia contingent and a dedicated Aprilia section within the forum.
Almost always (I can't think of a exception) events are open to all and what's more, this event has been posted up in the general forum ride out & events area so I'm sure you are welcome.
If I recall, last year Biker Gran was at the event ..... and you wouldn't want to suggest to her that she rode in on an Aprilia :smt002

As I recall, I didn't ride in at all - I took the car! (After another use of my breakdown cover, ahem!)

Hope to change that this year!

Thanks for the info', looking forward to checking out the details as and when. The weekend sounds like it should be fun, if what I read on here from you lot is anything to go by, :smt001 .

From memory, last year was about an equal amount of futs and falcos, plus a couple of panzers, a trumpet and a bandit. Some just popped in, some stayed and got slightly drunk. One or two got very drunk. Which was Mart's fault.
