I bought the flowers, arranged baby squasher, nice meal then home and to bed for a nice romantic night of no sex.....

so, kind of normal then... am certain our son was conceived by my underpants....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Got the card, flowers AND present, out for a posh meal then back for some serious fun. A great evening - then home to the wife :smt003
The ride is the reason ........ the destination is just the excuse.

Dunno, I think it's fairly romantic not to feel the need for all the commercial crap!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Went out for a meal and had a fabulous time. Even given the best efforts of the restaurant to c*£k it up........... one hour after arriving the finally came and ......

took the order :smt012

half an hour later they served the food and we managed to get the wine list out of them.............

then they forgot the sorbet, and then tried to serve us our coffee before our dessert..........

wasn't cheap either.

needless to say we have e-mailed them regarding the cr@p service. They have until tonight to reply before I name and shame.

Glad you still had a good time, the company means more than the meal to me..... but I would still hammer them for it too, no excuse for inadequate service!! Will make it all the more better if you get some comp from them tho :smt002

Threaten to get Gogs Ramsay into them.... :smt003

oooh looks nice... apart from being pink... was the food good when you finally got it?

Must admit, service is always my biggest problem but its the same as any low paid job really... if you had any nounce about you then you wouldnt be serving in a restaurant, all the restaurants up my way have big problems finding decent serving staff... perhaps if they paid better it wouldn't be such a problem?

it's sort of catch 22 'cause if you rely on tips you have to provide good service and they didn't so they didn't get a tip.

Food was very nice. Hence we thought we'd give them the opportunity to redeem themselves.......... but at a couple of quid under a hundred for two people the service was v. v. poor
