I for one would prefer to belong to a forum where language bordering on or crossing the racism line is forbidden. Am I just being over sensitive here ?

I agree with you Fausto.

I also support the right to free speech but I do find things offensive that put people down when it is based purely on ethnic origin rather than fact.

(cue for the Scots to remind me of my winding them up based entirely on their ethnic origin. ..... where does good humour end and offensiveness begin?)

Possibly should have been moderated, but it never occured to me at least, that anyone ever takes what Gio says seriously. :smt017

Any complaints should of course be addressed to the mods immediately, by PM.

Possibly oversensitive. Gio will call a spade a spade and wont bat an eyelid or see an error in doing so. We all know this!

He is not referring to a Religion, but purely to a state of dress of the people he is referring to.

If He had started to harp on about Jews, Sunni Moslems, Shiite Moslems and the Quran with anything but fairness then trust me I would have said something before you had. Ive been mortared repeatedly by people of a certain race and religion and have also been served in shops by the same race of people (Although not armed with AK47s and RPGs) so Im fully aware of the fact that you cannot tar them all with the same brush.

Your displeasure is noted though. Gio can you avoid controversial topics please or at least try to refer to our somewhat nomadic friends in a more diplomatic manner.

Certainly :smt001

I would like to say though that I went to school with Bedouins and I admire them rather than their more afluent compatriots.
